Warranty Claims Policy

Every electric bicycle and electric dirt bike manufactured by voltdriv Ebike is protected by a limited manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty strictly covers material and workmanship defects and is governed by the terms and conditions detailed below.

1. Registration and Warranty Duration

This limited warranty is initially granted to the original retail buyer. Registration occurs automatically upon completing a purchase via our official website or approved vendor network.

The active warranty term commences exactly on the date the product is successfully delivered to the consumer.

Transferring the warranty to a secondary owner is only permitted under the following conditions:

  • The initial warranty timeframe remains actively valid;
  • The subsequent owner can present a legitimate receipt or proof of the original transaction;
  • The primary buyer’s full name and associated order number are clearly provided.

2. Extent of Warranty Coverage

voltdriv Ebike backs its products with a one (1) year limited warranty specifically addressing manufacturing anomalies in materials and craftsmanship.

Complimentary accessories, promotional goods, and bundled gifts are strictly excluded from this warranty coverage.

Eligible defects are limited to verified malfunctions that occur under intended, normal riding scenarios.

voltdriv Ebike retains the sole and exclusive authority to assess and declare whether a reported issue qualifies for warranty resolution.

3. How to Submit a Claim

All formal warranty requests must be submitted electronically to: tktuoguang@163.com.

A valid claim submission must include the following documentation:

  • The official order number and proof of purchase;
  • The claimant’s current contact details;
  • High-quality photographic or video evidence demonstrating the defect;
  • A comprehensive written explanation of the malfunction.

Claims lacking these elements may face processing delays or outright rejection. Replacement components will never be dispatched until our technical team has thoroughly evaluated and approved the provided evidence.

All final warranty remedies—whether through repair, replacement, or equivalent substitution—are executed entirely at the discretion of voltdriv Ebike.

4. Guidelines for Transit Damage

Buyers are required to examine their shipments immediately upon arrival.

Any claims pertaining to damage incurred during shipping must be officially reported to us within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date.

Photographic proof documenting both the damaged external packaging and the affected components is mandatory.

Please note that superficial cosmetic blemishes on the exterior shipping box or on free accessory items do not qualify for damage compensation.

5. Covered Components Breakdown

5.1 The Bike Frame

Bicycle frames are protected for one (1) year starting from the original delivery date.

Approved frame substitutions may consist of new, expertly refurbished, or functionally flawless but cosmetically imperfect units. Costs associated with third-party labor and installation are not covered.

Frame warranty exclusions encompass:

  • Oxidation, corrosion, and rust;
  • Surface scratches, paint fading, and normal cosmetic wear;
  • Damage resulting from crashes or severe impacts;
  • Unauthorized structural modifications, drilling, or welding;
  • Stress fractures resulting from overloading the bike’s designated weight capacity.

5.2 The Battery Unit

Battery packs are safeguarded by a one (1) year limited warranty.

A repaired or replaced battery assumes the remaining duration of the original warranty and does not extend or reset the coverage period. Cash refunds are not issued in lieu of battery replacements.

This battery warranty is immediately voided by failures caused by:

  • Charging with unauthorized or non-certified adapters;
  • Severe deep discharging or chronic overcharging habits;
  • Water ingress or forceful physical impacts;
  • Breaking the factory seal or unauthorized disassembly of the casing;
  • Utilizing the battery in incompatible, unapproved machinery.

5.3 Mechanical and Electrical Parts

Factory-original mechanical and electrical elements carry a one (1) year guarantee against manufacturing flaws.

Unless stated otherwise, the customer remains responsible for the shipping fees associated with sending replacement parts.

Items prone to standard wear and tear are strictly excluded from coverage, including but not limited to:

  • Rotors and brake pads;
  • Inner tubes and tires;
  • Sprockets and chains;
  • Cables and bearings;
  • Grips and rubber seals.

Natural surface degradation, rust, and cosmetic deterioration over time are similarly excluded.

6. General Limitations and Exclusions

This limited warranty categorically excludes damages arising from the following:

  • Stunt riding, competitive racing, general abuse, or inappropriate off-road applications;
  • Incorrect transportation or poor storage practices;
  • Prolonged exposure to harsh environmental elements (e.g., moisture, chemicals, sand, salt);
  • Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel;
  • The removal, alteration, or intentional defacement of the bike’s serial number;
  • Flawed initial assembly or incorrect installation of components;
  • Acts of God (floods, fires, natural disasters) and theft;
  • Deployment in commercial rental fleets or delivery operations;
  • Operating the product outside of geographically approved markets.

Furthermore, any diagnostic, service, or labor fees charged by third-party mechanics are strictly non-reimbursable.

7. Component Replacement Rules

Supplied replacement parts are intended purely to restore the vehicle to standard operational condition.

voltdriv Ebike accepts no liability for secondary losses such as business interruptions, transportation inconveniences, or general downtime during the repair window.

We may require that the defective component be shipped back to our facility prior to dispatching the replacement. Refusal to return requested malfunctioning parts may result in the forfeiture of future warranty privileges.

8. Legal Liability Limits

The remedies outlined in this document serve as the buyer’s sole and exclusive recourse.

voltdriv Ebike legally disclaims any responsibility for punitive, consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.

In all scenarios, our maximum financial liability is strictly capped at the exact purchase price paid by the original consumer, to the fullest extent permitted by regional law.

9. Policy Amendments and Interpretation

voltdriv Ebike retains the ultimate right to update, modify, or interpret the clauses within this warranty framework at any given time.

In the event of any dispute, the most recently published version of this policy on our official website will be considered the binding and prevailing authority.
